One of the more rewarding and perhaps difficult tasks I have as an instructor is awarding students with their student of the month certificate and trophy. When we had to close our doors and the country went into full lockdown we took the decision to that students would still be recognised for their efforts once the lockdown eased a little and allowed us to deliver the awards in person. Today we were pleased to be able to award 2 students with their long overdue awards and 1 student with this months. So in order of month we would like to congratulate the following students.
Eddie worked extremely hard in Febuary and March on his listening skills and focusing on what was being asked of him and we were especially impressed by how this new focus translated on the mats during his last graduation. Well done Eddie we are very proud to have awarded you this and look forwarded to seeing back on the mats as soon as we are allowed to open.
Ella has not been with us long but has created a huge impression upon us. She has impressed us with her dedication to her martial arts on the mats and during the lockdown. She never misses a class, is extremely focused, mature and puts 100% effort in 100% of the time. We look forward to seeing her progress on her martial arts journey.
Henley takes student of the month for May. We have been impressed with Henley’s dedication to his Kickboxing during the lockdown. He has attended every class and regularly submits video’s to us of him practicing at home. He is always polite and well mannered and always tries his hardest. Well done Henley keep up the great work
It has been many weeks since we were all on the mats together. but every week we spend social distancing is a week closer we are to re-opening. Just being able to deliver awards to you is a step in the right direction.
Stay safe and keep up the great work.
