I am so seriously proud of the effort of all our mini ninja’s this evening. So much focus, excellent behaviour and hard work.

Our class began with a fun assault course warm up followed by a quick stretch off. The ninja’s then focused and performed some superb kata before taking a very quick break. When they returned to the mats we delved straight into some non-contact sparring breaking it down into just back fist, reverse punch and front kicks. Breaking the sparring down so much helped the children to understand the techniques a little more in a very controlled manner.

The children then worked on some very basic combinations and were learning Japanese for front kick and front punch as they went along. We also counted from 1-5 in Japanese whilst working on press ups and sit ups.

The children worked so hard this evening that we rewarded them with rope climbing which they all enjoyed.

We are seeing some huge improvements in this class in terms of effort and behaviour, well done children, your were awsome.
