I am proud to have been awarded this very special certificate from our governing body Cobra Martial Arts Association for my commitment and dedication to my students during the Covid-19 crisis. This is not just an award for me though. Whilst I may be the face my sutdents see during our Zoom classes, there are many cogs within the wheel which make up the team of our martial arts club.
I would like to thank first and foremost my wife Mrs Julie Dyson-Abad, our programme director without whom Chuldow Rothwell just would not function smoothly, even during this crisis she is as busy as ever ensuring we provide the best possibe programme for our students
I also want to thank our regional managers Mr Ian Kelly and Miss Karen Macdermid. When the crisis first hit they supported us fully and allowed us to use their own online video content which was a huge help.
And finally i want to thank every one of our students. Those that have known us long enough know that we do what we do becuase we love what we do and love the difference martial arts makes to peoples lives. These have been very trying times for everybody, not just us and our students and parents and carers of our students have supported us throughout this pandemic. Without your support we just would not be here to receive any type award, so thank you all so much.
